Other Costs

Professional Liability Insurance

Students in the health professions are required to participate in various clinical learning experiences as a prerequisite to successful completion of programs of study. The clinical facilities where these learning experiences take place will only accept students who are covered by professional liability insurance. Accordingly, Baptist College of Health Sciences (Baptist College) has arranged to provide coverage meeting the required coverage standards to all students who are enrolled in clinical courses through Health Provider Services Organization. All Baptist College students enrolled in clinical courses must obtain coverage through Health Provider Services Organization, other personal liability insurance coverage notwithstanding.

The annual premium for this coverage will be $21 and will be charged with student billing for tuition and fees. All payments must be submitted to the college business office.
