Lifeblood's Healthcare Group of the Year

Baptist College of Health Sciences was honored as the 2015 "Healthcare Group of the Year" during Lifeblood's seventh Annual Awards Luncheon. Baptist Memorial Health Care was honored as the 2015 “Lifesaver of the Year.” Last year, Baptist team members and Baptist College of Health Sciences students donated 900 units of blood.

The criteria for winning a Group Award focus on growth in collections and being a significant contributor to the blood drive community. Other Group Award winners included Collierville First Baptist Church, First Tennessee, Christian Brothers University, Southern College of Optometry, Brighton High School, Temple Israel, White Station Church of Christ, and the City of Bartlett employees. Buckman won the Richard “Dick” Benson Community Service Award.
