Maternal/Newborn Nursing

Focuses on holistic, safe and quality care for childbearing women and their families. Experiential learning in a variety of settings provides opportunities to develop cultural sensitivity, clinical reasoning, communication skills, professionalism, and leadership. The role of the baccalaureate generalist nurse is reinforced. Three credit hours theory, two credit hours clinical. Prerequisite: NSG 331.
