Clinical Chemistry

This course is a study of the theory, techniques and procedures to identify and quantitate chemical analytes in blood and body fluids and the correlation of these analytes to human disease. Laboratory practice is a required component. Prerequisites: CHE 101, CHE 201, Organic chemistry II or higher level chemistry, MLS 300, MLS 305 and admission into the MLS program. Corequisite: Must enroll in all MLS courses offered in the trimester.
