Partnerships to provide a formalized pathway for student transfer.

Allied Health

  1. Blue Mountain College
    • Baptist College offers Blue Mountain College students annual admission of one (1) student in each of the following programs: Medical Laboratory Science; Medical Radiography; Nuclear Medicine Technology; Radiation Therapy; and Respiratory care, provided the student has successfully completed their undergraduate prerequisites at Blue Mountain College as identified specific to the major. Blue Mountain College students interested in pursuing Diagnostic Medical Sonography will be granted an interview for selection each academic year.
  2. Freed-Hardeman University
    • Baptist College students who complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHS) will be guaranteed acceptance into the Freed Hardeman University (FHU) online MBA program, provided they meet all of the admission requirements specific to the FHU Graduate School.  FHU will agree to waive the GRE/GMAT requirement for students who have graduated from Baptist College with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and who intend to matriculate through the online MBA program.  And FHU will provide a 20% tuition discount to Baptist College students, upon acceptance into the online MBA program.  Students are responsible for any other costs (e.g. application fee, books, computer, technology fees, residency, etc.) that may be associated with the FHU application process and program/courses.

General Education and Health Studies

  1. A.T. Still University (Master of Public Health, Master of Health Administration, Master of Science in Kinesiology, or Master of Science in School Health Education Programs)
    • Baptist College graduates who meet the admission requirements of the A.T. Still graduate program will be granted admission to the Master of Public Health, Master of Health Administration, Master of Science in Kinesiology, or the Master of Science in School Health Education programs. Under the Agreement, applicants are not required to complete the GMAT, GRE, or other graduate examinations. Once enrolled, accepted, and registered for courses, each Health Administration graduate will be governed by the administrative procedures and policies of CGHS. For Baptist College Health Administration graduates who apply, and are accepted into a master’s program at A.T. Still College of Graduate Health Studies (CGHS), will be awarded a 20% discount of tuition costs. This does not apply to courses that a student is required to repeat. Students are responsible for any other costs (e.g. application fees, books, computer, technology fees, residency, etc.) that may be associated with the programs/courses.
  2. Arkansas State University (NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine)
    • Admission Early Assurance Program increases the chances for Baptist College Biomedical Sciences graduates, who meet specific criteria, to be accepted into the Osteopathic Medicine program. 
  3. Bethel University (Physician Assistant Studies Program)
    • Bethel University has guaranteed interviews for Baptist College Biomedical Sciences graduates who meet specific criteria.
  4. Blue Mountain College (Business Administration)
    • Baptist College offers Blue Mountain College Business Administration students the ability to complete coursework towards a Concentration in Health Administration.
  5. Christian Brothers University (Physician Assistant Studies Program)
    • Christian Brothers University has guaranteed interviews for Baptist College Biomedical Sciences graduates who meet specific criteria.
  6. Dyersburg State Community College (Health Information Technology)
    • Baptist College has guaranteed admissions to the Biomedical Program for Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) graduates who have successfully completed their Associate of Applied Science degree in Health Information Technology at DSCC, and who have fulfilled admission requirements at Baptist College.
  7. Dyersburg State Community College (Pre-Health Professions, Pre-Physical Therapy Assistant and General Studies Programs)
    • Baptist College has guaranteed admissions to the Biomedical Program for Dyersburg State Community College graduates who have successfully completed their undergraduate degree in Pre-Health Professions, Pre-Physical Therapy and General Studies Programs at Dyersburg State Community College and who have fulfilled admission requirements at Baptist College.

  9. Memphis Academy of Health Sciences - (High School)
    • Baptist College of Health Sciences agrees to guarantee admission to Memphis Academy of Health Sciences students in its Biomedical Sciences who have successfully completed their high school diploma in the Health Sciences Program at Memphis Academy of Health Sciences and who have fulfilled Baptist College admission requirements.
  10. Methodist University (Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Programs)
    • Methodist University has guaranteed admissions for 2 Baptist College Biomedical Sciences graduates into the Physical Therapy program and 2 Baptist College Biomedical Sciences graduates into the Occupational Therapy program who meet specific criteria.
  11. Southern College of Optometry
    • Southern College of Optometry has guaranteed interviews for Baptist College Biomedical Sciences graduates who meet specific criteria.
  12. Southwest Tennessee Community College (Physical Therapy Assistant Program)
    • Baptist College has guaranteed admissions to the Biomedical Program for Southwest Tennessee Community College graduates who have successfully completed their undergraduate degree in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at Southwest Tennessee Community College and who have fulfilled admission requirements at Baptist College.
  13. Union University (School of Pharmacy)
    • Union University has developed a preferred applicant agreement with Baptist College of Health Sciences for students who meet specific criteria​
  14. University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center (Clinical Laboratory Science Master’s Program)
    • The University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center Clinical Laboratory Science Master’s Program has guaranteed interviews for Baptist College Biomedical Sciences graduates who meet specific criteria.

Nursing

    • Baptist College will guarantee placement in the upper division professional courses for Blue Mountain College students who have successfully completed their undergraduate prerequisites at Blue Mountain College.
