Respiratory Care Receives Award

The Respiratory Care program was among a select group of programs recognized for Excellence in Education by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care. Brian Parker, program chair of Respiratory Care, was presented the award at the AARC's Summer Forum in Marco Island, Florida on July 16. In selecting the programs, the CoARC used objective critera based on key accreditation outcomes: (1) 90% or higher RRT credenttialing success for the most recent three year graduate cohort and (2) meeting or exceeding thresholds for CRT credentialing success, attrition and job placement. The chair of CoARC, Shelley Mishoe, congratulated Parker on his commitment to excellence in respiratory therapy education.
