RAD 211 Foundations of Medical Radiography (3)
Fundamental concepts of medical imaging. Focus of physical and technical skills needed to apply ionizing radiation with an emphasis on the introduction to radiographic positioning terminology, the proper manipulation of equipment, and basic radiographic procedures. Prerequisites: COMPLETION OF A MINIMUM OF 45 HOURS of general studies coursework including ENG 102, BIO 301, PHY 320, and AHS 202, AHS 204. Must be taken in the first term of the Medical Radiography sequence with approval of the program chair.
