The study of economic issues arising from the unique nature of health care. Topics include the current health care environment, spiraling health care costs, and the roles of various health care participants, including clients, physicians, insurers, hospitals, regulatory agencies, and governmental bodies. Health care costs in the United States and other countries are compared.
