DMS 436 Physical Principles of Ultrasound and Instrumentation I (3)
Designed to provide the theoretical and practical concepts of ultrasound and Doppler instrumentation. The course focuses on ultrasound terminology, sound wave concepts, knobology, transducers, ultrasound imaging systems, beam patterns, tissue mechanics, arterial and venous hemodynamics. Prerequisite: PHY 320.
