Disciplinary Philosophy
The Standards of Student Conduct as well as other rules and regulations governing student behavior and academic progression are in place to ensure that a safe and secure learning environment exists, and so that individual rights are protected. A student who commits a violation of college rules or policies will be subject to disciplinary action. The nature of the disciplinary sanction will depend upon the severity of the violation and the surrounding circumstances. The disciplinary and appeal processes are outlined in the college's Student Handbook.
