** Validation and Articulation:
Baptist College of Health Sciences encourages educational mobility for the registered nurse holding an associate degree or diploma in nursing from an accredited program. The active registered nurse license is recognized as evidence of basic nursing competency. Awarding of academic credit is accomplished through successful completion of a validation course. NUR 306 Health Assessment, when successfully completed, will serve as validation for Basic Skills of Nursing Practice, Maternal/Newborn Nursing, Adult Health Concepts I & II, Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Senior Capstone Course (4 credit hours), Senior Seminar, and Fundamentals of Nutrition.
