Progression Withdrawal

A student who is unsuccessful in the second attempt at any General Studies course (grade less than "C") will receive a progression withdrawal from Baptist College for failure to achieve satisfactory academic progress into the professional major and will not be eligible to reapply to Baptist College of Health Sciences. Progression withdrawal applies only to students taking General Studies courses and does not appear on the student's transcript. If a student is on academic probation at the time of the second failure of a General Studies course, the student will be academically dismissed instead of receiving a progression withdrawal. Academic dismissals are noted on the student's transcript.
