NSG 420 Maternal/Newborn Nursing (5)

Focuses on holistic, safe and quality care for childbearing women and their families. Experiential learning in a variety of settings provides opportunities to develop cultural sensitivity, clinical reasoning, communication skills, professionalism, and leadership. The role of the baccalaureate generalist nurse is reinforced. Three credit hours theory; two credit hours clinical. Prerequisite: NSG 331
