NSG 335 Nursing Research in Evidence Based Practice (3)

Provides the student with an overview of selected qualitative and quantitative research designs. The student is introduced to research terminology, information literacy and technology, ethical issues, data collection methods, and analysis and interpretation of data. Emphasis is on appraisal and utilization of research findings that impact safe, quality care outcomes. Focus is on evidence-based practice and the professional role of the evidence user. Prerequisite: MAT 211, NSG 321
