Admissions Criteria Respiratory Care Degree RRT-BHS Completion Program

The RRT-BHS applicant must:

  1. Graduate from an advanced respiratory care program with a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 on a 4.0 scale.
  2. Earn a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 on a 4.0 scale on all college work (not just transfer hours accepted) from accredited colleges or universities. RRT-BHS applicants must be in good standing and eligible to return to institutions previously attended.
  3. Hold an active RRT credential and be currently licensed to practice respiratory care.
  4. Submit three completed recommendation forms.
  5. Meet all the College General Performance Standards.
  6. Upon acceptance to the college,
    • Submit a $100.00 non-refundable enrollment fee.
    • Complete a physical examination and submit the student health form provided by Baptist College at orientation. This form requires a list of all previous immunizations.
    • Submit proof of health insurance coverage.
    • Submit a background check prior to registration for classes.
