Academic Progression

Satisfactory academic progression in the program requires that all professional courses be completed with a letter grade of at least a "C" before progressing to subsequent courses in the degree plan.

Satisfactory Progression: To achieve good academic standing and maintain satisfactory academic progress, a student must:

  1. Maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
  2. Earn a grade of at least a "C" in all courses.

Students who receive a "D" or an "F" in a Health Care Management course may not progress to other courses in the cohort and must retake the course. The course must be taken at Baptist College of Health Sciences the next time the course is offered at Baptist College. Earning a grade of at least a "C" or better on the retake will allow the student to continue progression through the accelerated degree plan with a different cohort of students.
