Sheri Hendrix

 Sheri Hendrix has been with the Baptist Memorial Hospital and Baptist College of Health Sciences family since September 1996. She is currently serving as the Academic Operations Coordinator of Student Services. Sheri started her career with Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as Administrative Unit Coordinator where she worked for 2 years, then transferred to the Food and Nutrition Services Department where she worked as the Secretary for the next 7 years. Sheri has 2 sons (Sky and Dustin).  Sky is also now a member of the BCHS family working in security.  Dustin is an incoming Freshman at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR.  Sheri and Dustin are both currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Marked Tree Chamber of Commerce. Sheri’s top five Strengths Quest themes are Adaptability, Learner, Focus, Achiever, and Consistency.

Lee Danley

Lee Danley came to Baptist College in June of 1999. Lee earned his B.S. degree in Organizational Management from Crichton College, Memphis, TN, in 1998 and his M.S. degree in Management: Organizational Leadership in 2005 from Regis University in Denver, CO. Lee is currently working on his doctoral studies through Northcentral University in Prescott, AZ. Lee is also a graduate of the "Leadership Memphis" program, class of Spring 2009 and serves a certified Stephen Minister through HOPE Presbytarian Church in Cordova, TN. Lee is an adjunct professor for the Allied Health Division's Health Care Management Program and a facilitator for the Baptist College Experience (BCE) orientation courses.

Bill Finnell

Bill Finnell is a Licensed Professional Counselor.  He comes to us from Bapist Trinity Hospice where he was the bereavement program manager and bereavement counselor at the Center for Good Grief.  Bill is originally form Huntsville, Alabama.  He graduated from the University of Alabama with a dual major in Psychology and Religious Studies.  He then completed his Masters in Community Counseling from Denver Seminary in Denver, Colorado.  He has lived in Memphis for the past four years.  Bill is a member of Second Presbyterian Church where he met his lovely wife Lauren.  Bill's top five StrengthsQuest themes are Strategic, Developer, Responsibility, Individualization, and Intellection.

Nancy Reed

Nancy Reed is the Dean of Student Services at Baptist College of Health Sciences. She has a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Nebraska, and a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling with an emphasis in Student Personnel Work in Higher Education from Eastern Illinois University. She has served in Christian higher education for over 20 years, and joined the team at BCHS in September 2007. Her priorities in Student Services include helping students grow spiritually as they pursue their educational and career paths; creating a sense of community on campus; and providing learning experiences outside of the classroom which students can take with them for the rest of their lives. Mrs. Reed is a member of Central Church in Collierville, TN where she is active working with Senior High Youth Ministries. She is married to Scott, and they have one son, Mark, who is a freshman in college.

Jeremy Wilkes

Jeremy Wilkes has been with Baptist College of Health Sciences since August 2002. He is currently serving as the Manager of Student Services. Jeremy holds both his undergraduate (B.A. in Communication and Fine Arts, 1993) and graduate (M.S. in Counseling and Personnel Services, 1996) degrees from the University or Memphis. Jeremy serves on the Business Council, the Safety Council (as the Co-Chair), the Student Affairs Committee, and the SGA (as an Advisor). Jeremy supervises all Residence Life matters and the Resident Advisors as well as the College Services Coordinators. Jeremy is married to Jenny and they have two children (Rachel and Joshua).  Jeremy’s top five StrengthsQuest themes are Belief, Developer, Ideation, WOO, and Positivity.

Hometown: I grew up a Navy Kid, so I’m pretty much hometown-less. I’ve lived in Memphis longer than anywhere, and claim it as my hometown.

What if I am unsatisfied with my assignment?

BCHS is hopeful that all residents will have pleasant roommate experiences. We recommend that you set boundaries with in the first couple of days of moving into the room- even if you already knew your roommate. The next step would be to communicate any issues or annoyances as they arise. Waiting or ignoring issues can create additional problems, which often make reconciliation unattainable.
