Friday: 8:00a.m – 3:00p.m

Saturday: 10:00a.m – 4:00p.m

CSI Learning Center Mission

The mission of the Course Specific Instruction Learning Center at Baptist College of Health Sciences is to support the College's mission of preparing quality healthcare professionals for the 21st century. The center will function as a "one-stop shop" for students providing extra assistance with course content and specific activities necessary for academic success.

The governing philosophy of the Course Specific Instruction Learning Center is to improve student success by assisting them to become better learners, emphasizing practices that stimulate student learning and success in their designated program. The CSI Learning Center will provide computers, software, books and models to complement the instruction the student receives in the classroom.

The Student Assistant/Tutoring program is one of the direct services provided by the CSI Learning Center and is to help students who are in need of extra assistance outside the classroom. The relationship of tutor to tutee is best described as a "student centered" and "knowledge center co-learning experience."
