Message from the Chair of Health Care Management
Thank you for your interest in the Pinnacle Health Care Management program. Our program’s mission is to provide entry level and advancing managers a career pathway where their strengths-based educational experiences result in a solid foundation for managing healthcare with integrity, quality and innovation.
The Pinnacle Program is designed for adult learners who have work experience and desire to add baccalaureate level educational achievement to their credentials. The program is tailored to accommodate the student who has work and/or family responsibilities. While we fully take advantage of advanced technology in our teaching and exposure for students; we also have face- to-face classes one night a week where those students who need more personalized attention can receive it. Research shows that learning from student peers is highly effective and our program’s structure designed such that each entering cohort (group) takes each class at the same pace throughout a 19 month process. Our faculty members are experienced professionals, have practical experience in the field, and have a keen interest in the success of each student.
If you desire a career change to enter the healthcare arena, or wonder if it is possible to get credit for basic college courses taken in the distant past, or would like to earn academic credit for scholarly work experience while moving up with your current employer; we would be happy to evaluate your standing and readiness for our program. The faith- based foundation of the college ensures we approach your learning needs with an attitude of service. Allow us to partner with you on your road to greater success!
