Pauline, functions to provide students with the extra assistance in course content and activities necessary for academic success. The LC assists students to become better learners, emphasizing best practices for learning, with the assistance of computers, software programs, textbooks, models, simulation and a Student Assistance/Tutoring program that offers direct service to students, giving them extra assistance outside of the classroom.

Additionally, the Learning Center assists students in taking the College Student Inventory (CSI), which is a self report questionnaire. The CSI assesses students' needs and strengths and aids the College in implementing referral and intervention programs to help students become more focused and more successful.
