Message from the Chair of Health Care Management

Allied Health professions are some of the most rewarding and fulfilling careers available for baccalaureate prepared professionals. The division of Allied Health offers six degrees that meet the high demand for professionals in the dynamic healthcare arena.  Allied health professionals represent multiple areas of expertise and skills involved in the evaluation and maintenance of health status, prevention and identification of disease, rehabilitation from illness, and administration of therapeutic treatment modalities. Please explore our programs and determine if one may be a match ‘just for you.’

At Baptist College of Health Sciences, quality in patient care is our ultimate goal as we guide you to develop the knowledge, skills, character, and credibility of a competent health care professional.  Education at Baptist College of Health Sciences fulfills the teaching portion of the Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation’s three fold ministry of Christ - Healing, Preaching and Teaching.  That means we aim to graduate health professionals who are taught to recognize and value the psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual aspect of providing health-related services to others.

Come journey with us as you prepare for a career of the future in healthcare. We look forward to partnering with you to reach a purpose filled life and meaningful career.
