Community Service for BCHS Students

There are numerous opportunities for you to be involved in community service and charitable activity while a nursing student or allied health student at Baptist College. The Office of Student Services, in alliance with the SGA’s Vice President of Community Service, keep the students at BCHS updated on Community Service opprtunities for engagement and agengies around town with ongoing volunteer needs. Most of these agencies have positions available on both a permanent and part-time basis to help students fulfill their community service obligations.

Baptist College has an ongoing relationship and commitment to the Baptist Operation Outreach agency that provides health care services and other needs to the homeless population of Memphis. In addition, there are many annual events that BCHS helps promote and sponsor. Be on the lookout for flyers and details about these throughout the year.
