Only courses with a grade of “C” or above will be accepted from other regionally accredited colleges if the work satisfactorily parallels courses offered by Baptist College of Health Sciences. Transfer credit from non-regionally accredited institutions may be considered by the appropriate dean after a review of materials has been submitted.

Earned credit five years old or less in the following courses may be submitted for review: Anatomy & Physiology I and II, Microbiology, Chemistry I and II, Physics I and II, and Pathophysiology. Earned credit three years old or less in Computer Science courses may be submitted for review. All other courses will be reviewed for transfer credit regardless of age. Transfer credit will be reviewed by the appropriate academic dean(s).

f you have taken an introductory computer course more than three years ago, it will not transfer to BCHS. However, you may take the Computer Competency Exam to demonstrate that you have remained current in your computer skills and by passing this competency exam, credit for your previous course will be transferred. In order to transfer credit for a computer course you have taken more than three years ago, you must do the following:

Once you enroll at Baptist College of Health Sciences, all courses must be taken here, unless special permission is obtained from the Dean of General Studies, Dr. Barry Schultz.
