AdmissionsBaptist College seeks academically well prepared, highly motivated students who are interested in a career in health sciences. Admissions is based on a variety of criteria including grade point averages, standardized test scores, entrance test scores, and recommendations. The number of applicants admitted to Baptist College of Health Sciences during any trimester may be limited. Thus, the admission/selection process is competitive. The criteria stated on this website are minimum criteria for consideration of an applicant, but in no way guarantee admission. Students who do not meet the minimum criteria by the stated deadlines will not be considered for admission.

The Baptist College of Health Sciences accepts
new students for enrollment for the Fall and Spring trimesters only.
Please note the following important deadlines regarding admisson to
the college.
Deadlines for the Fall Trimester:The priority admissions deadline of February 15th is for applicants who wish to compete for the Fall trimester academic scholarships. These scholarships are primarily for, but not limited to, high school seniors who will graduate in the spring semester prior to Fall enrollment. In order to be considered for any academic scholarships for the Fall trimester, an applicant must have met all admissions criteria by February 15th. Specifically, prior to February 15th, an applicant must have submitted and met all test score requirements; submitted all high school and college transcripts with the GPA required; and taken and passed the HOBET (Health Occupations Basic Entrance Test). Please refer to the section on Financial Aid for further information regarding both scholarships and Federal Financial Aid.
Deadlines for the Spring Trimester:In order to be considered for admission for the Fall
or Spring trimesters, an applicant must submit and meet all admissions
critera by the deadline for the trimester for which he/she is applying.
Specifically, this requires an applicant to submit, prior to the deadline, an
application for admission with a $25.00 non-refundable application fee, all transcripts
required from both high schools and colleges attended verifying the required
GPA, and an ACT score of 20 or above (freshman applicant with 0-24 credit
hours). Additionally, an applicant must take and pass the HOBET (Health
Occupations Basic Entrance Test). Attention Applicants: Imaging science majors (Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy and Medical Radiography) will consider applicants for admission only for the Fall trimester. |

For admission and progression, an applicant to Baptist College of Health Sciences must exhibit professional behavior and have the abilities and skills according to the standards listed below.
