Message from the Dean, Division of Allied Health:

Linda Reed, Dean, Division of Allied Health, Baptist College of Health Sciences

If you are interested in a rewarding career in health care, then one of the many professions in Allied Health may be for you!

Allied Health professionals are valuable members of the health care team, who represent multiple areas of expertise and skills involved in the evaluation and maintenance of health status, prevention and identification of disease, rehabilitation, therapeutic treatment modalities, and management of health care organizations.

At Baptist College of Health Sciences, quality of patient care is our ultimate goal, as we partner with you to develop the knowledge and skills, as well as the personal responsibility toward that end. In addition, we provide exceptional education in a Christian environment. That means we not only expect highly skilled members of the health care team upon graduation, but also health professionals who recognize and are comfortable with the psychosocial and spiritual aspect of providing health-related services to others.

The journey begins here, but it will prepare you with both professional and life skills for the future. So, check out one of our degree programs. We look forward to partnering with you in meeting your career and life goals.

Linda E. Reed, Ed.D., P.A.
Dean, Division of Allied Health
